Smart & Safe Florida Announces New Ad Highlighting Bipartisan Support
New ad showcases broad support across parties for Amendment 3
(Orlando, FL) –Smart & Safe Florida released a new ad featuring Republican State Senator Joe Gruters and Democratic State Senator Shev Jones, two politicians who don’t always agree in Tallahassee, but both support Amendment 3 as the best path forward for Floridians.
Senator Gruters and Senator Jones agree Amendment 3 means freedom, justice and funding for crucial public services like our police and schools. Amendment 3 would end needless arrests and incarcerations for simple marijuana possession, and state economists project Amendment 3 will create up to $431 million in new tax revenue each year. While these two senators will vote for different candidates at the top of the ticket, they’re both voting ‘Yes’ on Amendment 3.
