Grammy Award-Winning Artist Miguel Endorses Amendment 3
Support continues to surge in campaign to legalize adult use recreational marijuana in Florida
(Orlando, FL) – Today, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Miguel endorsed Amendment 3 on the November ballot, arguing that Florida should join the growing number of Americans who have the freedom and peace of mind to use regulated adult use recreational marijuana.
Over half of Americans across 24 states and Washington, D.C., already have access to safe, tested marijuana, but the “Free State of Florida” remain absent. Instead, Floridians continue to be at risk of arrest over small amounts of marijuana possession.
“Everyone should be free to enjoy, to partake. It should be a freedom that everyone can enjoy legally,” said Miguel. “Florida’s got legalizing marijuana on the ballot this November. That’s a no-brainer. What’s to think about?”

Miguel’s support joins a growing coalition which agrees that passing Amendment 3 is the best path forward for Florida. His endorsement follows that of Wiz Khalifa, boxing legend Mike Tyson, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, Athletes for Care, ACLU of Florida, SEIU Florida, Florida Alliance for Retired Americans, the Florida Democratic Party, former President Donald Trump, Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan, Gadsden County Sheriff Morris Young, Bradford County Sheriff Gordon Smith, Republican State Sen.
