Smart & Safe Florida Launches Law Enforcement Ad
Campaign to legalize adult use marijuana debuts new ad, “Generations”
(Orlando, FL) – Today, Smart & Safe Florida announced “Generations,” a new ad featuring Tim Hightower, a 30-year veteran of Florida law enforcement. Tim spent decades keeping Floridians safe, covering traffic safety and homicides, and as a school resource officer.
Tim knows firsthand the undue burden marijuana arrests put on individuals and our law enforcement officers. He believes legalizing adult use recreational marijuana will make Floridians safer by giving adults access to safe, tested products, and by allowing officers to spend more time and resources on serious crime. “Generations” will air statewide across broadcast, cable, streaming, radio and digital platforms.

A yes vote on Amendment 3 will improve the health and safety of Floridians and alleviate the burden on both the law enforcement and criminal justice communities. Access to regulated adult use marijuana will help prevent illicit cartel-trafficked marijuana from making its way into Florida. Without regulation, these products can be laced with dangerous materials including meth, fentanyl, ketamine and other illegal substances.
